I don’t have a mortgage xx
So would just be for my partner and children if something were to happen. I want to get life insurance for both of us x
I’d recommend a life insurance with critical illness cover combines; also look to make sure the critical illness covers your children too.
Ours is with Aviva. Legal & General is another well known one or check your bank as some banks do life insurance. Martin Lewis has some useful info on his website if your doing it yourself and not via a broker x
You can get comparisons and different quotes online, I would suggest doing your research on insurers claims statistics, i.e. how often they payout claims, I’d say 97% or over is pretty good
I have set up a Life Insurance with Polly - really simple they call you and ask questions and work out how much it is a month x
I was looking at polly but then I’ve been reading reviews and they weren’t that great🤔. It’s so difficult trying to find the right one xx
So is this different to just normal life insurance? X x @Reena
Ah okay thank you. I’ve just made an application with legal & general so I think I’m going to ask them about the income protection when they contact me further x
Thank you x
Just want to say this is so smart and your children will really truly appreciate it if god forbid anything does happen! From someone who unexpectedly lost both of her parents and neither had life insurance, it would have helped so much 🤍 and making a will! You’re doing such an important thing!
Thank you! Yes I believe it’s a good thing to do when you’ve got children and my children are so young still. I have serious health anxiety so I always worry if something will happen so I think this will definitely put my mind at ease a little bit xx
Do you have a mortgage? If so I would recommend you speak with a broker to go through your options and they can fill in the application form for you and make sure you’re applying for the right cover and amount. X
