Toilet training
My little boy is nearly 4, and potty training is honestly a nightmare. He will wee on the potty if we prompt him to and sometimes asks for a wee but he just refuses to poo on the potty. We’ve tried consistently. But it’s getting to the point now where I’ve just run out of options. I’ve spoken to GP and health visitor who both just say keep going, but surely this ain’t right?
It’s stressing me out so much. Does anyone have any ideas?

I’ve literally tried everything, I feel like I’m losing my mind with it all! I just don’t know what else to do, I’m terrified as he is due to start school in September x

We used the “Oh Crap!” book potty training method and it was so good. There is advice for almost every scenario and the Facebook support groups are great. When we first started training my son was the same with poos. We made pretend poos with play doh and put them in the potty. We each had to pretend to do one 🙈 It worked really well! x
