Toddler time

Has anyone taken their lo to toddler time at a public library? I want to start but I’m super nervous about how she will be and I’m currently about 25 weeks pregnant I’ve never been in public alone with her besides out for walks around our place but I think being around other kids and getting out will be good for the both of us 🙃

Yes I love it!! It gets me out the house and gives my toddler some interaction with other kids around his age. I’ve also made mommy friends through it and even met some nannys too for when I do decide I want to go back to work

@Elianny(eh-lee-ah-nee) how did he do when you first went? Is it really interactive with them or can they get bored? My lo doesn’t really like to just sit

We usually go to the library (shirlington library)and at first i'm worried about how my baby will behave but everyone is very nice since they're parents or grandparents, Some are nannies but it will be okay since babies are babies and they will react according to their mood, mine keep walking around other times his crying and clingy, it's good for mommies to connect with another mommies or families.

Yes! I’ve taken my 12 month old a handful of times since she was about 6 months old and we like it. In the beginning she didn’t like all the singing and now she’s really just interested in what the other kids are doing. It’s a nice way to get out of the house and something we can both enjoy. Plus it’s a good way to interact with other parents/adults.

I’ve really enjoyed it! My son just turned one he likes to watch kids his own age and a bit older play and he learns a lot. I’m pretty shy so it’s helped me make more mom friends

Thank you ladies! I am going to give it a try and see how it goes! ☺️

@Adriana I love it. They can walk around if they don’t feel like being held for songs and stories and the babies play with blocks and musical instruments at the end
