Potty training - accidents at nursery

Hi all, Started potty training my son last week during half term. Did really well at home with me, minimal accidents and got it pretty quickly. He was back at nursery today and had 3 accidents 🫣 and they said he didn’t seem to react when he was wet 🤷🏼‍♀️ has this happened to others? Did you just persevere and then hope he gets the hang of it at nursery? I appreciate it’s a new environment to get used to. Thanks for any advice

Sometimes they may just be busy playing with their friends! It will come! Can he get to the toilet on his own there? Sometimes it may be asking the teacher. Xx

We’re having a somewhat similar experience. My son has no accidents at home what so ever but at nursery he’ll have some days with no accident and some days like today when he had 2 🤷🏼‍♀️I’m not sure what they are doing in the nursery but just hoping it gets better over time

Do they actually take the kids to the toilet regularly? One week in is pretty soon to be completely self initiating. When he is at home does he just self initiate or do you prompt when you can tell he needs to go? If you sometimes prompt I would be having words with nursery about supporting him more in these early stages
