Has anyone NOT started potty training yet?

We started about 6m ago gave up and will start again around spring time! My boy wasn’t ready at all - don’t feel under pressure they all go at their own pace my friends baby started ripping her nappy off so she started and she was ready xx

No, we haven't even tried to as he's not showing signs of being ready. Aim to start when the weather warms up abit more.

We're waiting to move house... Hopefully frigging soon!!! So I've been putting it off until we've moved 🙁

Tried late last year found out she was not ready. We are leaning it now until I know she’s showing more signs being ready. Some say you get two chances to start. We will start by summer though as she goes to preschool September

We haven't with my LG and I'm worried I'm falling behind 😵‍💫 so much mixed guidance everywhere as well so have no idea tbh.

I tried over half term with my son, didn’t work cried everytime I tried to put him near the potty. He is an August baby, we are getting work done to our house which we’ll be out of the house for a few weeks, so I’d say it’ll be April/may time when the weather warms up before we start x

We haven’t started yet but will hopefully give it a go in the next few weeks. We were waiting to move house and get settled into a new nursery, but I’m also 25 weeks pregnant and so I would prefer she’s potty trained before I get too big/with a newborn 🫣 I understand the pressure though, but I think there’s no harm in waiting until you see more signs that he’s ready.

Tried at Christmas and she wasn’t ready! She was crying saying I don’t like potty. So going to leave it till spring time and see again

Tried about a month ago and my little one was not having it. So we are gonna try again pretty soon.

Planning on trying in April when she has a week off from the chilminder. I have booked the week off work too and just going to see how she goes. She likes the toilet more than the potty and had sat on the toilet a few times when my mum is looking after her and she also started not wanting her nappies on ect

Don’t feel under pressure honestly. Once they’re ready you can train them in a day! If they’re not quite ready it’ll be a battle, I’m waiting until summer but until then I keep showing him the toilet etc and mentally just telling him about it

Not ready.. he will sit on it but doesn’t do anything. Like he’s got stage fright! He knows what it’s for but he’s just not there yet. He’s been doing the same at nursery so hope it’s the start of things moving towards him doing it. My eldest was potty trained by now.. they are all very different

Started last week, complete failure, should have listened to people saying to wait until summer! I’ll try again in the summer, there is no rush!
