Sorry I’m not sure I understand the situation. Are you asking for experience with shorter femur lengths - as in the legs measures 17 weeks but your baby is 20 weeks? If so, that was my baby. His femur was always the smallest measurement. From 20 weeks onto 36 (last scan before I gave birth at 38 weeks). The difference got bigger as the weeks progressed. By the end it was measuring 3 weeks behind. The doctors never once said anything about it. Nor were they concerned. These scans can be off too. Harder to measure the larger the baby is. And he came out at 9lbs 3oz, 22” long, and perfectly healthy. (Albeit he was breeched). Current 22lbs at 6 months and 29” long.
My son’s femur’s measured short at the 20 week scan and he is a healthy, giant and in perfect proportion
@Alana yep it said 17 weeks at the 20 week. You are spot on. This makes me feel so much better than Google!
@Stacy thank you thank you
@Dee you have made my anxiety feel so so much better. I hate being paranoid
No need to worry! The Dr will have a serious conversation if there is. I can't remember where my son was at his 20 week scan, but we had to go in for multiple scans (I had gd so they keep a close eye on things) and the three numbers (head, belly, femur) bounced around in percentiles, week measuring. He was absolutely healthy (although a string bean). And he's a wonderful, healthy 2.5 year old now!
Yep! My 20 week scan they mentioned it and then scans afterwards I noticed the measurements were small but nobody said anything. My little one is healthy and in proportion ❤️
