Honestly, I wish I had the time and motivation for it. I bought a cute pregnancy journal as a memoir for my little boy, but between work, domestic duties, etc. I've hardly kept up with it. Also, taking a pic of my bump every week not only felt redundant but was just so tiring to keep up with. Especially because my bump has only noticeably grown by month rather than by week. I also have other half-finished journals knocking about my house collecting dust that are over a year old. Some people just don't like to journal or don't have the time and that's okay! ☺️ I really want to get a "my first year" journal though, as I think they're so lovely to hand down to your kids. I'll be making the effort for that one.

Kim you’re the same as me . Maybe the first year one seeing the baby grow will make us want to write it down

I’ve created an instagram journal private account, every week i do a summary on my notes app, screenshot it and upload it to the account. Any scans or relevant images also get uploaded. I am too lazy to hand write a whole journal 🤣 I may consider doing a “my first year” as that would be a super keepsake

@Jo My mum never had a pregnancy journal for me, but she did have/keep lots of other things that were just as sweet when she showed me them and handed them down to me. I think the most important things are a pregnancy test or two and a scan picture. My mum also kept some baby clothes, the odd teddy bear, and first year birthday cards. I'll be doing something very similar for mine. I think sometimes we think they are going to want to know every little detail about our pregnancies with them, but I think it's more fascinating just having a box of stuff and a first year book rather than letting them know that you threw up your first plate of chips at week 12 😂 besides, there's nothing we won't have experienced that we can't talk to our LOs about. ☺️

My mum got me the bump to birthday book from White Company and I found it really easy to keep up with. Highly recommend!

I didn’t like the look of any of the ones available so I decided to do my own journal on my laptop where I write down whatever comes to mind each week, takes me 10 minutes, and then at the end I am planning to get it printed as a beautiful book to keep 🥰

I started but never finished it, and I actually regret it, but I think the reason I didn't do it was due to COVID lockdown so we couldn't actually do anything or see anyone
