Milton cold steriliser

We're using the milton cold water steriliser at home but wondering how to take a bottle when we go out? Can I put an empty bottle together and add the formula later when we are out will it remain sterile?

Yes you can do this. As long as nothing gets inside the bottle and you had a lid, all good xx

I would pop a bottle straight from the tub into a new resealable bag and seal it and never had issues. No idea if that was right or not!

Yeah just make it up with the lid on and off you go. Baby isn’t going to be licking the outside of the bottle. And also even if they did, it would be fine…. The outside of the bottle is only going to be touching what I assume is the inside of your bag. Not like it’s going to be covered in dog dirt or something 😂

Once sterilised I would put all of the bottle pieces together and pop the lid on. I’m pretty sure it is then sterile for at least 24 hours. I used to sterilise them like this and then pop them in the bag ready to make up on the go. Nuby rapid cool is a life saver for on the go by the way so that you don’t have to wait ages for the bottle to cool. My son is now 3 and he never got poorly so I’m assuming popping the lid on the bottle and putting it in the baby bag was okay 😊

@Amy thank you. I've got the rapid cool but I am yet to try it out
