Im still in the same boat mine only goes if i tell her and if i dont she has accidents. Its definitely frustrating
I’m commenting cuz I’m on the same boat bt I’m don’t have a baby on the way so I don’t have a timeline for my kid. Bt I’ve tried everything, my son is literally afraid of the potty. He cries & cries and then when I finally put a diaper on he feels safe to pee or poops in there. Bt for some reason he won’t use the toilet cuz he is afraid of it. All the kids his age have been potty trained so I do feel like we are behind, I wud also like my son potty trained as well. Just glad to know we ain’t the only ones on this struggle
There’s a book called “Oh Crap Potty Training” and it addressed every possible issue that arises for potty training. I’d suggest getting that book and trying those suggestions. I’m no expert but that book really helped me train my daughter
@Whitney he just walks around like it didn’t happen, he doesn’t tell us
@Talia thank you!!!
Aw, I’m sorry you both are struggling! It’s a stressful time for sure! It’s a great start that he goes when you tell him to! I’m wondering about what happens when he has an accident. Does he cry? Does he tell you? Does he just walk around wet, like he doesn’t notice?
