Military Wives

Any advice from working military wives? We have a 7 month old. My husband went on his first trip and we (I) struggled. Any tips?

No advice but following along because I’ll be in the same boat soon

Where are you in Virginia?

I’m about to be a military wife and have 3 at home so I’m sure him being gone for basic and then AIT will be quite a time 😵‍💫 following for advice

My advice it’s hard, but find something like a routine that you guys enjoy doing for you and the baby. Even if it’s just being an intentional about walking or whatever. Are you in Virginia? I am as well as my husband is currently deployed.

Try to stay busy and take your baby to do different activities! Most libraries have story times, I took my daughter at a young age. Idk what branch your husband is in but base usually has things to do as well. It’s def hard, my husband had two deployments without children and now that we have children props to all the mamas! He still is gone a lot but you start to get a routine without them and thankful for them when they are home.

Have any of you worried about them cheating? I know so many military guys and girls who sleep with each other when away at schools or certain deployments…many of whom are married…I trust my husband, but I do worry and plan to have a serious talk with him before he goes to his MOS training. 😵‍💫
