Thanks nice to feel not alone. It’s the clingy stage like you say . Also don’t love doing baby stuff so it’s not the easiest day for me even though I love being with lo .
I can relate. I've been a SAHM recently while work has been quiet and when we can't get out because of poor weather or the other half has the car, I find the days at home long, and really exhausting xx
I can’t imagine being a full Sahm must be so rewarding but so tiring mentally and physically. How do you cope
100%, don’t worry it’s not you not being a ‘natural’, I do feel it’s unnatural the isolation and would be much easier in community. I make sure I have a plan - toddler group in the morning and then park or soft play or meet up in afternoon. Or if bub isn’t well or we’re tired, watch a movie and play in the garden / read / draw. It can still be dull! More play dates make it easier with adult conversation or have a podcast or radio on! One thing I’ve found really occupies him is filling a plastic washing up tub with warm water and popping some cups and bottles in there and he plays with filling up the water and moving it around in the garden. I just put his rain suit on him and his wellies and it occupies him! Hope this helps and get naps when you can x
Thanks so much that’s really helpful xxxxx
Personally I don’t love those days either. My son can be in a difficult clingy mood and the day drags on. Always easier when I take him out so I usually plan the morning with another mum and her child, then nap and soft play or park in the afternoon.
