Honestly I can tell you now, when my daughter first turned 2 we put her into a football club group and she was going feral. After a few weeks of it it did get better but now she’s 3 she remembers everything so she loves it. It’ll come in time mama! X
I’d honestly let him be. They’re really young to be sitting at listening. It’s normal to explore.
21 months is still very young. Being able to sit and listen is a big skill to have at that age. It could also be that he's more of a hands-on, active learner. I'm 31 and STILL can't absorb information if it's given verbally, lol, I have to either read it or just get in there and do it 🤷♀️
