How far would you travel?

Thinking about booking a last minute baby moon in the UK. I'll be 35 weeks and feel nervous going 2.5 hours away to somewhere my husband found. What do people think!?

I would go! But I’m on my second baby so don’t worry about things as much. Last time I know I’d have felt too anxious.

I’m away this weekend (at 34 and half weeks) and would go up to about 36 weeks - depending on how far as I’m just uncomfortable all the time. I think it’s just up to you on how comfortable you are to travel - physically but also if you’re happy to be away.

And I’m only saying 36 weeks as I kind of have it in my head baby may make an earlier than expected appearance (but it’s my first so may also just be general jitters 😂)

I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and wouldn’t personally travel as I want to be near home at the moment but we are all different & if it feels right go for it x

I’m going down to London today at 34+1 till Saturday. Might go up to York for a couple of days in early march depending on how things are … also nervous as it’s my first and I have a feeling he’s going to be early too. But I’m sure it will all be fine … for me the main worry is going somewhere that there are hospitals and is more accessible rather than somewhere more remote

Take your hospital bags and notes with you. You can always buy a carseat if it does happen! (Or family will bring it to you)!

I live in a very rural area and the hospital is an hours drive away anyhow haha 😄 The main thing I'd be thinking is how uncomfortable I'd be on the drive and the fact I need a wee all the time and my ankles swell massively. Make sure you stop halfway to get out and move about!
