Why is it so hard to make friends as an adult? I cannot seem to find even 1 friends to keep in touch with. So I guess here is my lone I am casting out! Hi I’m Kate! I’m 34 and have 2 kids. Boy girl, almost 5 and almost 9. I have adhd. My daughter has autism and adhd and I’m pretty sure my son has adhd too. So we are a wild bunch! I love to read, Diamond paint and I use to love to crochet, I may get back into it. I’m defining a home body, I love coming up with little projects then stressing myself out while trying to finish them. My dream life would be living in the country on a farm, with tons of animals, gardens, orchards and living that kind of simple, from scratch lifestyle. Will that ever happen? I doubt it but I can dream about it haha. I’m absolutely obsessed with stickers, office supplies, notebooks and bookmarks. I love Harry Potter, nightmare before Christmas, the wizard of oz and Jurassic park. I love psych thrillers, horror, historical fiction, classics and non fiction when reading book I have a very addictive personality, very go big or go home type. I’m very socially awkward. I also have anxiety so of course that doesn’t help. I’m not good with small talk at all. I’m not the best in big crowds but I can mask haha Mostly I’m just shy and quirky. If anyone is interested in being friends of even best friends! I would love to talk.

@Maddie yes I’ve seen that too. Which I don’t mind but I would love at least a consistent friend. I know life is tough and sometimes you can’t stay in contact as much as we would like but something at least

@Kate I also had a kid a little young so all of my friends are like out partying and they don’t really want to do the thing so I want to do. I guess I grew up a little faster than they did lol

@Maddie I gave birth at 25 and at 29 and I feel like I grew up even more after I had my kids so I kind of get it. I really didn’t have anyone besides my husband and some family after I got married.

@Kate I had my daughter at 20 and now I’m a SAHOM so I fr hang out with her and my husband and that’s it

@Maddie same here! I’m a caregiver so it’s either my husband and kids, or elderly people. That’s really it
