My little boy was on the same at that age, by 6 weeks he was on 6oz and then he stayed on that ages! Just be led by your baby ☺️
Babies are very good at self regulating. The only reason a formula baby could really be overfed is if you are trying to make them eat when they don't want to. Sometimes parents have a tendency to want to get them to "finish the bottle," and you want to avoid that. Don't be afraid of waste. If she's hungry, feed, and if she wants more, make more, but if she only takes an ounce of it, oh well. As long as you are going by her cues, you are very unlikely to overfeed. Also, spitting up is pretty normal at that age. Their sphincter muscles are underdeveloped and it's a bit like water sloshing around in an open-top glass. Even if it seems like a lot, it's probably less than you think. Mine spit up constantly until about 3 months and it honestly probably feels good after a big feed, lol.
I always went with a guideline of wanting .5-1 oz leftover when baby unlatched from the bottle content. If 4oz didn't seem enough I upped it to 5 and if they seemed happy and there was a little leftover then that's what they needed. My boys did great with that method, and typically ate more than "recommended"
I'm super worried about overfeeding my son I don't want him to be obese like myself. My doctor told me not to worry about overfeeding them at this age. Feed them as much as they want you'll know it's too much if they throw up. I thought that was wild for her to say lol. I feed him what he wants he never really got full to that point.
