Dentist

They usually recommend going whenever the first tooth starts popping up, so for us our girl didn’t get her first tooth until she was 9m. But our older boy was 6m so we took him around that time. It doesn’t have to be immediately as their tooth comes but as you say, sooner the better even just for them to experience the environment/getting their mouth looked at/touched.

We havent been able to find any dentists taking on new patients so cant bring her yet which is a shame

I took my little one when I had my appointment .. the dentist just opened his mouth and said it’s fine. I’ve been told to bring him to all my appointments… not doing anything but getting him happy and familiar with the room etc

we have our 1st appointment on 11th march! managed to get him in with his dads dentist thankfully. he has about 12 teeth x

My little one went at 10 months to get used to it she had a few teeth by then anyways and then she gets another check up in may x

Yes, he came along in September with me, and then we’re going again next month. Best to start as soon as you can for the exposure and getting them used to it. ☺️

My LG still has no teeth but been told to take her to her dentist when she dose. All I can say is good luck to him getting anywhere near her mouth 😂

I started both mine at the dentist from 6 months and have been going ever since.

My little boys had 2 appointments already one at 6 months but he didn't have any teeth yet so they didn't do anything and second appointment just after his first birthday

Started taking her when her first tooth was cutting through about 8 months. Nursery is really good with brushing teeth

I go every 6 months and take my boy with me. Technically he’s had 2 check ups but the first time he just came with me, the second time the tent isn’t ran his fingers in his mouth and gave toothbrush advice! Apparently it’s just to get them used to it x
