As soon as they’re born or as close to as possible x
I registered my daughter when she was a few months old and they just booked her in for when I had my next check up
I did my LB when he was 1 and had most his teeth and then they did 3 monthly visits to get him used to it x
Well...our 3 have all been registered but our first wasn't remotely capable of having an actual appointment until he was about 2. We'll probably take our 2yo Jan babies soon.
@Hannah yeah same wouldn’t say much of an appointment, pretty much in and out Barley got a look in his mouth to check what teeth he has 😅
My little boy has been going since before he was 1 x
Been taking my daughter since she was about 6 months and her last appointment at just over 2 was the first one where the dentist actually managed to check her teeth. That was at least partly down to practicing at home first with a little mirror that was in her Dr set. X
2 years ours say
My daughter came with me in the pushchair when she was about 6 months, and my husband called ahead of his and they said bring her into his and she sat in the chair first on my lap, and let the dentist open her mouth and just run a finger round. The sat and watched her daddy. Built her up with Topsy and Tim go to the dentist book and a little role play dentist set
I went at 12 months when he had his first teeth
I did when he was 6 months old. He’s been to my appointment as well and met his dentist when he was 1
After 1st tooth, and every 6m thereafter
My daughter has been 3 times I think, maybe 4. We went as soon as she got her first tooth, then months after that and then every 3-6 months from then x
Get them registered they only get them used to it and count the teeth. Very good experience and gets them used to it. We’ve gone twice already. Every 6 months x
Should have when they got their first tooth or when they turned 1 if not
