👋 we’ve got a 20 month old with 15 countries here so this is my forte haha! -Best flight time would be 10ish I would say but personally love a nap timed flight as means less need to entertain haha. -we don’t go all inclusive, we try and do self catered apartments if possible as it’s just easier with a toddler especially as all inclusive often have late dinner & lunch times! - books, fave toys, download a few things onto your phone. He can stand in the bit by the toilets but it can be hard to keep out of the air crews way! -airport hack = run around as much as possible to get the energy out! - depends on your child. You don’t need a car seat - try & use public transport or use hoppa (or similar) who can provide a car seat! Let me know if you have any other questions - we’ve pretty much experienced it all 😂

I'd say time nap for flight personally, unless you have enough to keep him occupied sat down the whole time. All inclusive gives you more freedom around snacks and drinks but half or full board might be okay too. We stayed in a half board hotel that you still had snacks/drinks etc throughout the day without paying each time, then we settle the bill at the end of the day - something like that is nice and easy but potentially more expensive in the long run. With a short flight, the chances are the trolley will be out most of the time the seat belt sign is on so running around might not be an option. They'll have to do snacks then duty free, then sometimes snacks again all in about 1.5 hours so it'll likely be back to back. We stuck a suction thing on the window and attached toy straps to it so dropped toys weren't lost to the abyss beneath our feet. If the airport you're flying from has an airside Boots store, do a click and collect order. Do pick up day the day before so it's definitely there and bring a big..
Bag for life. They only had paper bags when we collected, it comes in big boxes, which broke on the plane. We got nappies, wipes, toiletries and snacks which saved a bunch of luggage space. If possible, send one parent on with the hand luggage etc as soon as the gate opens. They can set up camp, get toys ready, etc. Then the other parent can give little one a run around and expel energy, and board right at the last minute so they're spending less time on the plane. We did all inclusive and pretty much stayed at the hotel but took a buggy (got a free one off marketplace and then bought a gate check bag to keep it clean but I didn't mind if it got beat up in hold) and snoozeshade so baby could nap in there while we chilled by the pool.
Hey! Seems like everyone’s already given pretty good advice! If you can - I’d call the airline and request a bassinet seat as he’s still an infant. He’ll likely be too big to actually use the bassinet but you’ll hopefully be able to secure an extra leg room seat without additional cost! Xxx
I bought this luggage I think its called a micro ride on luggage and I pull him along and the seat is comfy. https://amzn.eu/d/fiM9E3p
