Nowadays, they ask that babybis out of the carrier during take-off and landing. We aim to plan flights during nap times so that it's easier on both, but that doesn't work all the time. So we hide a toy for a month or so before the flight and give it to him during so he is more interested or he gets a new toy/book, worst case scenario there is the tablet with his favourite show.
Pool: 2 swimming sets Swimming nappies Sunscreen Hats Pool float Pool toys (only one or 2 like a ball) Pool shoes are a must if you want to rest without worries of them cracking their head open.

Emergency items: Calpol Infacol/gripe water Teething gel Nappy rash cream
If there are mosquitoes Pram net and anti mozzy spray/cream suitable for babies

Apologies for the all the separate comments 🙏 😅
@Rasa thank you so so much for all these suggestions, they are fab and I’ll work my way through when starting to make my lists. Some fab tips here that I would never have thought of thanks again ☺️x
I find that it's destination specific. I.e we went to Turkey when my LG was 3 months and my boy 21 months. At the hotel, we had disposable bibs provided as well as cutlery. So I only took 2 silicone bibs while travelling and a travel bottle for water. Car seat was rented out via cab company, etc. We had 2 cabin approved strollers it made our like loads more easier as we didn't have to wait for the stroller at any of the airports (standard strollers you can take up to the gate but then once landed you will have to wait for them at the baggage point and this means chasing your 2 year old arround) Each one of us had a bag specific to the child with the essentials, which means you could decide and conquer when needed. Extra clothes nappies and favourite toys. Baby wearing on the plane should be a go to. But you won't be able to put down the table in front as there isn't enough space for baby and table.
