How can you sterilise formula bottles in hospital?

Do they have special equipment or a microwave? I am not sure how to sterilise the bottles after the baby is born.

I’ve bought something similar to Olivia, just a different brand. I got them from the supermarket. Just pre made formula with sterile teats x

My hospital provided a cold water sterilisation unit that I could use 👍🏻

Milton cold water sterilisers are handy. You just have a tub then put some solution into cold water and add the bottles. This is what we’re using as our main steriliser x

In NICU they gave us microwave bags and on the ward a Milton cold water steriliser ☺️

In the hospital the use one off bottle. But if you need to sterilize something the have a specific liquid just ask them. You are in the hospital they have everyhing you need . You have to be worried when u are not in the hospital not in.

Hospital had microwave in the labour ward to use for sterilising but my hospital also provided us with Medela bottles with one time teats that they replaced during every feed, these bottles were handed with a sterilisation bag that we just put the bottle into with abit of water & then in the microwave x
