MAM bottles

Anyone also had this problem with mam bottles? I've got the 260ml bottles with size 2 teats and I noticed when my lb was feeding the milk just wasn't going down and when I've tested the teat it seems like it's blocked? I've cleaned them thoroughly but the milk just seems to slowly drip out of them even when I squeeze the teat. Only a few of my bottles are like this not all of them? I've bought a couple of tomee tippee bottles to try but everyone recommended mam bottles but I'm just not seeing the hype. There's so many parts to clean and sterilise and I'm having issues with many of the teats 😕 what bottles do you all use?

I love the mam bottles. Are the others all size 2 teats that have a faster flow? The size 2 is still intended to be a slow flow teat so it won’t come out fast but it could be you have a faulty teat, nothing js foolproof.

@Trudy I have 9 mam bottles all with size 2 teats but I noticed sometimes he'd take about an hour to drink it and even then he wouldn't finish it all. I then checked all the teats and 3 of them seem to be faulty with only a couple drops of milk coming out when I tip it or squeeze it as if it's blocked but I've checked them and there clear so unsure why x

Could it be that the milk is a bit lumpy? If it’s got lumps on in it can block the teat x

We never ended up using MAM but had this problem on the odd occasion we tried them! And it was breastmilk so no issue of it being formula that hasn’t dissolved. Lansinoh were brilliant. Only 3 parts, the bottle, neck and teat x

this happends occasionally on our sz 1 & 2 teats and what I do is basically when cleaning fully turn the teat inside out to like stretch the hole of the teat part open. You can also even use the bottle teat cleaner part to make sure the teat is opening & dripping properly.

Yes I’ve had exactly the same problem recently!!!
