All of those things are hormone disruptors and carcinogens... so no not safe but of course many ppl use. I think its an individual choice.

I think you can go down a bit of a rabbit hole with this sort of thing and it ends up being where your personal safety threshold is. We've made the decision to have a couple of diffusers in non baby spaces, so downstairs loo and next to the cats litter box, mainly to cover the cats pee stink! I also don't burn candles in the house any more, but I already stopped this when we got a cat. The other thing I was surprised to find is that sometimes the "organic all natural" stuff is also linked to hormone disrupters. So lavender oil in particular is a proven hormone disrupter in boys. Its just something to bear in mind that sometimes people who are very anti chemicals etc aren't aware that the natural stuff can also be problematic. Basically, no one is perfect!

@Catherine I completely agree about the rabbit hole! I hadn’t even thought of candles and still use them 🤦‍♀️ There’s too much information and I think I’m going to get in a tailspin so I may just leave it there and not over analyse and research as I didn’t even know about hormone disruptions or anything and I’m probably going to make myself more anxious and never use deodorant or perfume at this rate 😂 Thank you x
