Doctor Appointments
Any moms in here that skipped their doctor appointments? I don’t have insurance and I’m seeing two doctors (my obgyn & a high risk twin doctor) so I’m drowning in doctor bills already.
Nothing in my history or current medical records show that I’m high risk apart from my twins sharing a placenta.
I have a doctor appointment EVERY 2weeks and I’m about to have it weekly because they want to monitor my babies. Is this necessary?
I know I should listen to the professionals but just wanting to know what you guys did/your experience

As someone who worked in OB, I can't even imagine missing an appointment 😅 and I already KNEW everything was good cause we did scans on our lunch break 3x a week, I still was at every single appointment with my fiance. Not sure where you live but if it's the US girl get on Medicaid like yesterday!!
You can always ask for financial aid, saying you have hard time paying the bills. Call your local hospital and have them transfer you to financial assistance departments and see if you are eligible. How far are you?

I felt this with my first baby wasn’t even a twin I skipped a few especially when I felt like the appointments become repetitive especially the ones where I just go in they ask if I’m ok I say I’m fine and I leave. they definitely noticed when I would skip because they called me and said it was absolutely necessary to come 😂 doctor even yelled at me a little. But I understand. Better safe than sorry
