Formula oz’s in a day

Looking advice - my LO has had bottle aversion since they were born, called them the 90ml kid as that’s the max they seemed to take unless going through a growth spurt, have found with weaning it’s made things worse as now it is a battle for getting bottles into them, I’m trying to get the recommended 500ml in but it just is a struggle and wondering what everyone’s amount is ? I am adding it to their food as much as I can - but they are refusing their evening bottle altogether now and I miss that part of the routine where it was book bottle and wind down time, now I dread feeding them and feel anxious anytime I need to offer them milk, spoke with HV who said to try distract them and keep trying - aside from forcing it down their throats I feel at a loss and worry the implications of them not taking enough- they eat fab and do take sips of water so not overall concerned they will loose weight or anything more become dehydrated or not enough nutrients and vitamins

Most days I can only get 300ml in him all day (spread across 3 bottles). I spoke to the HV and they said not to worry, some babies take to food and go off milk quicker than others. She said keep an eye on their weight, make sure they’re getting a healthy balanced diet and also give them vitamin drops once a day. 👍🏼

@Helen that’s where we are at and the HV said to try get 500ml, she said rather try it than the vitamins 🤦‍♀️ thank you ! Thought I was doing something wrong, will go today and get vitamins and just let them take what they will and make the rest up with vitamins

My girl will only have 300-400ml in a day at a push, and that's with putting some in her Weetabix 😅 I've accepted she's drinking less and just made sure I'm giving her a multivitamin every day. She has 3 meals and a very hearty appetite so she's clearly just taken to food well as @Helen said 😁
