Teething rash?

Help! Is this a teething rash? Currently dealing with allergies with my 9 month old and she’s had this dryness and redness around her mouth sort of wrinkly and I haven’t been able to figure it out and figured I’d ask here. I’ve been to 3 different doctors for skin and allergies but this is new ish

Mine has the same thing. I think it’s teething. She has it on her thumb too!

it seems that way, is she drooling a lot? also dry skin on her chin? I use A+D cream on my daughters and it goes away quite fast, I apply it twice a day, morning /night

Yessssss y’all im going crazy with her dry patches from allergies and this on her face. Thank you for the quick help!

My baby has the same on her chin. I was about to ask here.

I have to lather my boys in Vaseline or off brand usually and sometimes adding baby lotion after every diaper change when their skin starts acting up. They all have really dry skin and eczema.

@Shelly I would get checked for allergies! May help with the start of eliminating what’s causes the ezcema ❤️ don’t use lotions with lanolin alcohol .. makes it worse

It could also just happen from the cold or drool. If it feels dry it’s most likely one of those. . Slap some aquaphor on it and see if it changes. It could also be a teething rash

@Shelly I just asked my ped about this today. As my baby has eczema spots all over in small places. She said just to lather him in an eczema lotion everyday. And use aquaphor on his head. She also gave us Hydrocortisone cream to try. If the patches are very red and itchy I’d try to get the cream.

@Isabella that's good! We've got a topical oil I'll use if the breakout gets really bad. Otherwise, aquaphor or Vaseline is a good go-to for us, too. My little guys itch like crazy sometimes. Hydrocortisone has also worked really well 💕

@Isabella I was aquaphor can make eczema worse. I got an antibiotic ointment from a teledoc and applying hydrocortisone in the worse spots. Never on the face though. Babies absorb it quickly
