Does anyone have any experience please?

Yep 👍 he said reduce stress I did therapy to identify and reduce stress only thing left was work Teaching can be very cult like and toxic Turns out I am only mildly depressed when working with nice people and manageable work loads Who would have guessed

Time to look for another job.

1000000%, no job is worth your mental health. I left teaching for this very reason, fast forward nearly 8 years and I now love my jobs and couldn’t be happier with the work/life balance. Take the plunge as it never gets better if you’re already at rock bottom!

Probably. But then like 50% of teachers would leave education so that’s probably not good lol.

I’m a social worker and hated it, I got put on anti-depressants and it helped slightly but not enough, I moved departments and was so much happier! No job is worth your mental health!

I remember when I got put on antidepressants because of a waitressing job, someone I worked with saw them in my bag and told my boss. She called me into the office later that and told me I had to stop taking them in case they made me spaced out and I wasn't performing at my best and that work should first. Handed my notice in immediately and never looked back💪🏻
