Pregnancy

You really learn who your friends are when you’re pregnant. The people that you think will stand by you treat you like crap.

That was precisely my experience too. All family and friends abandoned me despite saying at the beginning they would be there for me. I learned the hard way not to rely on anyone but myself. If you ever want to chat, feel free to message x

@Marina it’s awful isn’t it! My ‘friends’ really showed their true colours, especially one who I thought would be so happy for me, obviously very very wrong. Thankyou

Sometimes it's jealousy speaking. It takes a lot of strength and courage to be a mother, it's not for the faint hearted, but maybe they know they don't have what it takes, unlike you. Is this your first baby? While motherhood is often sadly an event that makes you lose old friends (the ones who aren't worth it) it's also a chance to make new friends, which is what mum groups are for.

I’m sorry that this is happening to you. What should be such a beautiful time can be marred by other’s jealousy. I guess it’s better you know now, than when the baby is born and they just vanish! I’m around if you want to message and chat. This app is full of Mum’s/Mums to be who would be more than happy to support you and be your friend.

Thankyou 😊 I’ve completely cut 1 out of my life because she was toxic and I’ve been so much happier since. Jealousy is an extremely ugly thing.
