Changing career

I’m a teacher and feeling so anxious about going back to work and managing the ridiculous workload that teachers face. Is anyone else thinking of doing something else? I don’t know what jobs are easy enough to transfer to from previously being a teacher. Anyone had any experience with this or any thoughts ?

I can’t help on the teacher aspect but I’m thinking the same I’m a regional manager and got the promotion during maternity leave it’s so much more work and travel I don’t know if I’m going to cope 1. With the work load and 2. Being away from baby it’s getting closer and I’m not worrying about it 😩

I didn’t go back after my first and probably will never go back into teaching again. I got a job in educational recruitment, but didn’t like it. Now I’m working as a lifestyle photographer, so very different, but something I used to do years ago. It’s tricky, as I felt like it was really hard to find jobs with a teaching degree. I know a teacher who worked for Twinkl creating resources, but not sure it paid well. X
