What contraception you guys potentially going to use soon ? Plus is the implant worth it and effective ??

I just want to know what your plans are as I am stuck between being on the pill or trying something new for contraception like the implant. Buy I'm unsure about the implant and unsure that the pill would (from previous use back in 2021) I was bleeding on and off and mentally low on it. But I have never been on the implant, so I am curious about others' experience and Is it worth going to get it done ? I would love to know your guys' views on the implant and the experience .

I decided to get the copper coil and I’m super happy. I wanted something non hormonal. I did have a heavier period for the first months but it’s leveled out now. I didn’t find it painful putting it in the only thing I would say is that maybe if you want to try for another one soon it might be annoying to put it in and out.

I got a copper coil at 5w pp, it did the job as in I didn't get pregnant! But it made my periods so heavy to the point I was leaking through super plus tampons, and a huge pad, so I got it taken out last month. We're using condoms now x

I was on the inplant for years and my moods was up and down big time more down than up. Messed my periods up I was having at least 4 periods a month!! I came off that when on the pill then came off that for 3 years got pregnant and then when on the copper coil as it has no hormones in it….im a lot better on the coil that any contraception I’ve been on in the pass xx

Don't recommend I've been on several contraception methods. Best I've found is the coil, I don't have the copper one as I suffer with heavy periods, the mirena has such low amount of hormones (as it's placed where it needs to be) and my periods are so so so so light now. It works well, is painful when I had mine put in though and I bled lightly for over a month 🙈
