@Katie I’d like to give her that independence, she’s pretty confident walking now and I’m worried she’ll run and fall.
We’ve got a 3 yr old as well we only used them for a short while with him and then just if we were near water or somewhere very crowded until he learnt to properly hold onto our hand
My little one has been walking since December and now we’re trying to get him used to walking outside/out and about more. We’ve had a backpack reins given to us and it once or twice in busy places. We go to a little park by our house and as the gate is closed, he has free rein (although did try to eat the bark chippings!🤣) He does stumble occasionally! As above, he is not used to holding our hands yet 🙈
Okay I think I may get one! She’s also been walking since Christmas and I’d like for her to have more freedom walking around but I’m scared 😂 Thanks for your input! 🩷
Use them if you feel you need to. Our little one is quite forward when he’s walking, they help him be independent but with us to sort of catch him before he hits the floor (ours are chest harness with no backpack)
