My little boy is also 3 months and showing signs 😭 his hands are constantly in his month all of a sudden chewing loads not just exploring and is dribbling loads
@Lauren he has discovered his hands however he’s now started to proper chew them, quite aggressively sometimes so I just wondered if he was teething or not
Around 3 months they start preparing their jaw for solids so chew everything and try and put it in their mouth I think a good sign for teething is red cheeks and not waiting to eat as much my sons just started hitting his checks as cry’s in pain a bit so I think teeth might now be coming
@Lauren oh I totally know what you mean we used to call my son zombie boy because he would go mental chewing on his hands and had no idea what was going on around him aslong as he could get his hands in his mouth but i don’t think it’s teething just yet can’t rule it out though
My son is 4 months and he definitely had little nubs pop up on his gums around 3 months so it's definitely possible. Most babies will start to drool and chomp on their hands around 3 months, even without the start of teething though! So unless there are actual tooth nubs it might not be true teething.
My little boy had 2 teeth by 3.5 months!
My son was the same, I think his first tooth came through around 4 months 😊
Yes my son is doing the same
Yeah my son had his first teeth at 4months old
Oh thanks so much ladies glad to hear others are going through the same! He’s not only aggressively biting down on things, he’s got a little rash on his cheeks too which indicates teething. I’ve given him some teething toys but he’s not really sure what to do with them yet so I just hold them for him xx
Yes, for my son it was more the teeth moving around in his gums than actually popping through.
It’s development, not teething
My little boy had this around 3 months but still no teeth 5 months on I think sometimes it can be mistaken for teething when they starting eating there hands and dribbling which is around 3 months
