I’m currently using this toothpaste I could try and go to the dentist it just gives me a lot of anxiety and my blood pressure is already high during this pregnancy so I’m trying not to stress myself out more if that makes sense xx
Yes it's called pregnancy gingivitis. Normal with pregnancy. Try and book a dentist and hygiene appointment for regular cleaning whilst you're pregnant. Please be careful with using corsodyl as can stain your teeth if used long term. (Trained in dentistry) xx
Yes it’s super common. I went to the hygienist when I was 10 weeks pregnant and they recommended using a softer toothbrush when it’s really bad but try and stick to electric toothbrush. Gargle salt water after eating. Corsodyl is also great for gums. Mine has really settled now I’m 14 weeks and I think those initial hormones have calmed down. Also floss twice a day. Are you not able to go to the dentist at all? I would really recommend trying in pregnancy because it can really damage your teeth and I would say that although bleeding and sensitivity is normal, the swelling and pulling away from your teeth sounds a little more like it could do with being looked at. You might need something a bit stronger than just a salt water gargle
