In my experience potty training (like lots of development things) isn't linear, there will be ups and downs and setbacks. As long as it's not stressful or making her sad, you can just keep going and see how she gets on. No harm in pausing if she's not ready. Our 1st was doing really well and then we went on holiday and it set him back a bit, once we came home he was fine again. It's not as quick, straightforward or simple as books and social media have you believe 🫠 and that doesn't mean you or she is doing anything wrong.
Thanks both, we had a rocky rest of the day yesterday and loads of accidents this morning but then none this afternoon 🤷♀️ She was frustrated and annoyed at the potty this morning but is happy with it this afternoon so it’s such a mixed bag! Guess I am just going to keep going as she has showed us she is capable of doing it and try and make it as fun as possible- need to keep reminding myself she’s learning and all kids take a different length of time to learn x
You could maybe keep going and see how she gets on ? If she gets really stressed then maybe at that point revert back to pull ups and try again tomorrow or even a couple days? Well done by the way ! You're doing great. We have really struggled with potty training so much so that I've decided to stop and try again in a few weeks.
