Frenchies
Reaching out for any guidance here, is it of the norm for Frenchies to gravitate to eating poo? Whether that be other dogs, foxes, cats, or rabbits?
I know consistent eating habits of this can't be good for their stomachs, and she has seemed to not be as...obsessive recently but still actively seeks for it when on her walks.
Well unfortunately all dogs tend to be a lil gross wether it’s poop or random garbage food However if it does seem obsessive & excessive absolutely reach out to your vet! Sometimes dogs who consistently eat poop are really seeking something their diet is lacking & or are unable to properly process the type of food they typically do eat (more specifically if the dogs eating its own poop) For my personal dogs I trained the word “yuck/yucky” to hold the same meaning as ‘leave it’ which normally the verbal reminder is enough to get them to disengage
