@Mik this is for between our kitchen and lounge, not the stairs🙂 that’s why I’m asking for recommendations
@Robyn it said stair gate is why I said it. https://www.target.com/p/regalo-wooden-expandable-safety-gate/-/A-75557021 Target has a ton of pressure mounted baby gates that would work, that's just an example of one. Walmart also has a decent amount of them too!

@Mik I’m in the UK and they’re just called stair gates no matter the use, and we use them for the bottom of the stairs too. Target and Walmart are in the US, thanks though

You can't use a pressure mounted gate for the tops of stairs. It's not safe.
