Mine has around 5oz in a sippy cup in the morning, he sits and watches tv and drinks it while I go upstairs and get changed. We are the same he gets breakfast in nursery, so he needs something to tie him over until he gets there so I give milk (cows milk). I’m not giving breakfast as I’m paying nursery to give breakfast and I don’t have time to do the clean up after as I need to get ready for work. He then has 7oz before bed in a bottle which I feed to him as he likes the comfort of this and it makes him sleepy. I think you are in the right here, and especially if you are the one getting him ready etc. I don’t see what the problem is with having milk in the morning
3 bottles - 2 x 6oz and 1 x 2/3oz. She'd probably drink 3 x 6oz, but she eats 3 full meals and snacks so I don't think she needs that much! They're all cows milk now. I think that sounds fine to give her some milk first thing. Agree it feels a long time til breakfast. My lo would be getting very grumpy if she had to wait 1.5-2 hours for any food or drink in the morning.
My boy has 7oz in the morning but we also give him a small breakfast at 7 as he wakes at 6. Then breakfast again at 0830 at nursery- he is a very hungry boy haha
My little boy has about 5/6 oz of cows milk in the morning just before we leave for nursery as I also don’t have time to give food and clean up afterwards. He then has his breakfast at nursery. He also has a bottle of cows milk after lunch/ with his afternoon snack, and also one before bed
My son won’t drink any milk- formula or cows🙃 x
My 13 month old little girl has 7oz after breakfast, 7oz after lunch, 7oz late afternoon, dinner and then 7oz before bed. We have only been giving her morning bottle as cows milk because it made her extremely constipated (GPs advice) x
My little girls nearly 13 months, she has a 7oz cows milk before her nap at mid day and same again at night before bed. Our nursery do breakfast at 8am though and we usually have to wake her up at 7.15 to take her
My daughter is on 5oz morning midday and bedtime and possibly another depending. She is on cows milk now
