Chiropractor

Hey - I know a few people were wondering if taking their little ones to a chiropractor was going to be worth it. We took our 9 week old last night and it’s quite literally, within 1 session, changed our lives. For background he was a failed forceps and emergency C-section baby, lots of issues at the start (CMPA, Reflux etc) which has all calmed down now but we took him predominantly for stiffness, gas, feeding and crying. He reckons within 2 weeks we will have an entirely ‘fixed’ baby. I know what you’re thinking… yeh ok but how much is this? We paid £56 for the first session and each session after is £46. We have been recommended to have 3 more sessions over 2 weeks. If anyone is near the Southampton area or can travel, I’m more than happy to recommend where we went! Worth its weight in gold in my opinion if you see the right person! He was so knowledgeable and got us to video him doing a lot of home exercises etc.

Oh and to add, baby usually sleeps 8-1 in the morning and then is fussy and crying trying to get gas out. Last night he slept 8-2, up for a feed and is still asleep now?!?! Unbelievable 😂

Omg I think my baby needs this but whenever I mention it to people they tell me I'm being ridiculous 😩 my partner won't entertain the idea at all too ☹️ they tell me to stop watching stupid tiktok videos 🙄 But my baby is sick a lot, is very fussy/cries a lot and gets very gassy. He's also had a very strong neck since he was born so I believe he has a lot of tension 🙁 He was born via emergency C-section too. Do you reckon it's really worth it? I just don't want to waste my money 🙈

@Louise honestly I was totally the same, I thought what a load of rubbish and like you thought it was TikTok’s and trends. I was so desperate to make him more comfortable I thought sod it, for £56 I’ll give it a go. Genuinely the best thing we have done for him. Again, I’ve been told it’s worth its weight in gold IF you go to the right person which I appreciate is tough but the person we saw was highly recommended to us and has incredible reviews etc xx

I have a very grumpy baby - unsure as to what makes him so unhappy but generally only happy when he’s asleep 🤣 doesn’t feed great as he bobs on and off the boob constantly, seems to get lots of wind, doesn’t sleep well during the day or night. Also live in Southampton! Could you please send me the details across as I may give this a try…

So glad it worked! I want to take my one to a specialist too, just looking for one near Colchester

I’d love to try it for my LO but my partner who’s an NHS physio is strongly against it 🥲 says no baby holds tension, it’s an unregulated practice, etc. How do I convince him?!

@Hanna I’m probably not the person to ask haha. I would take my baby regardless if my husband didn’t agree with it, if I thought it was what was best for baby 🤭
