We are in the same boat! I’ve been searching for stay and plays and soft plays around our local area and that has really helped our long days! Also gets all his energy out and I get to mingle with other mums. Most of them are in churches or community centres. Some are free or for a small fee (< £5)
It’s hard! My girl doesn’t play on her own at all and I get soo bored playing with toys too so we get out and about a lot. Some of the things we do… - church playgroups (usually in the morning) - visit the library to read books or for rhyme time - go for a walk / to the park - go to a cafe for breakfast / lunch - soft play - play date at a friends house - walk around supermarket with baby in the trolley - baby classes (we do a gymnastics one and a music one) When we stay in the house it’s just playing with toys and reading books. A few hours of the day usually ends up being this. X
