Toilet training

We tried, made progress and totally regressed back to nappies. It's a case of when a child's ready so don't worry about it!

Mine regressed as well and we are back to nappies

My little girl will sit on the toilet occasionally bur had no interest in toilet training yet unfortunately

Mines still not toilet trained

Mine isn’t, she so uninterested Nursery get her on the potty but she’s never had a wee!

I feel super stressed about it 😫

We’ve succeeded with wees on the toilet for about 2 months now, but she won’t poo on the potty she just has an anxiety attack if we even mention poo and will poo in a nappy when asleep. I figured we can take her to a specialist when she’s 20 and she can just wear adult diapers to bed until then. Hopefully she’ll learn to change herself

Little one has been doing wee on the toilet consistently since almost 4 months but wont poo on toilet. Completely refuses. Will only poo in a nappy, at one point we tried to force it and that ended up in him only pooing when asleep (i think he was withholding when awake) so we stopped forcing and now just waiting for him to be ready. Still ask every now and then but he cries and says no

@Teri don't be honestly, easier said than done. This is my third and it's not been the same each time. My first got it quick but then refused to poop so we regressed back to nappies, then my second was a straight forward transition he whipped off his nappy one day but my last, we tried at 2 he done a poo and refused thereafter, I tried 6months later totally uninterested and since he turned 3 I was determined and he was using the potty for 4weeks then he stopped and it was continuous accidents. He would literally stand up say I'm doing a pee and wet himself. I tried, got frustrated, asked him a million times a day for a week. He then started screaming for a nappy. So we are back at the start....😆 But I'm not stressed anymore. I'm happy to wait it out. My washing pile was big enough without 10 sets of additional clothes!

My boy isn’t potty trained yet

We are exactly the same. It’s really getting me down 😫 he won’t even sit on it or the toilet, he just screams

Mines only just fully potty trained but she decided she was ready. We tried several times before but she got so good at holding it she ended up with a uti and then wouldn't go near it. With mine her being moved up a group in nursery helped as they were all big girls and boys and not using nappies. As long as they're not starting school yet I wouldn't worry. I just left the potties around and let her play with them and sit on them in her nappy to do wees first x
