Do you feel like there is more pressure on Gen Z to get Botox/plastic surgery?

That's really sad that she feels the need to change her appearance like that, it honestly makes younger people look older too

I'm not sure if it's pressure, but apparently it's not uncommon. My brother is on the cusp of Gen Z, his girlfriend is, and she's had cosmetic work done. They say it's not unusual. Kind of sad, she's already a very pretty woman.

I feel like their definitely is I see it a lot in young women I’m kinda glad I have boys in this day and age

It’s honestly so sad. Making young people feel so shit and like they need to change themselves. I remember wanting to be skinny so bad because of magazines. I can’t imagine what they go through with social media

It depends on what’s being fed to her on her socials. It’s the same way bad makeup trends occur. Everyone is posting about it, it looks good on the pictures, so people try and do the same thing irl. Unfortunately plastic surgery lasts longer than a bad makeup day.

Agree with @Raqi . I think there’s always been pressure and unattainable standards. But I do think they probably feel the pressure more due to social media where as other generations didn’t have that. And yes, it is sooo much more accessible now. You also have shitty med spas charging lower prices, which again, allows for more accessibility.

Yes definitely, and it’s sad, but also where tf is she getting the thousands of dollars to do all that at 23 😂

I think that there is a lot of pressure when it comes to reality tv shows that show absolutely nothing BUT people with cosmetic surgery as the standard for beauty and what’s bound to find them a partner. And social media is pretty much the same. So there’s for sure pressure from society in those aspects for sure. And it can even subconsciously make people feel insecure or have low self esteem without realizing that these people only look “perfect “ because they got work done. But people are starting to not even look real anymore 😩 I love the natural look. Never gotten anything done ever and probably never will. There’s so much beauty in flaws to me.

It’s because they live/share so much of their life on social media, there’s a lot of pressure to look a certain way. It’s so sad and they all look the same
