HCG levels

I had my bloods taken today and my HGC level has come back as 29. That seems really low! I think I’m only 3weeks 2days

Why do you think it’s low? If you’re 3+2 weeks, probably implantation hasn’t happened a long time ago, so I think 29 is a good number so early on.

@Boglárka I’m just over thinking. I’ve had 6 losses so I’m just worrying

@Becky I’m sorry about your losses.😞 I’ve had three miscarriages in the past 6 months, last one was a MMC at 10+2 weeks. We just started trying again and hoping for the best! Have you had a repeat test done?

@Boglárka I’m sorry for your losses. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster!!! I have been back for bloods today so just waiting for the results 🤞🏻

@Becky any update?

@Boglárka I had my blood results on Friday and they was 97. I’ve been prescribed progesterone and just see how it goes

@Becky oh that’s great, more than doubled!🤗 Are you getting another blood test done? Will this be your first pregnancy with progesterone? Oh by the way, where did you get the blood test done and who prescribed the progesterone please? I was told when I get pregnant again to request progesterone from EPU, but I was also warned that I might get a push back on it as a lot of people at EPU don’t know who should prescribe it…

@Boglárka I’ve had the bloods via the EPU due to my previous problems. They won’t give me another blood test as my levels went up so well but I wanted another one for reassurance. I was referred to the miscarriage clinic who prescribed the progesterone. This is my first pregnancy using it. The EPU have never offered me anything.

@Becky hmm… I was referred by my GP to see gynaecologist, not miscarriage clinic. I just know someone locally who told that I should call EPU next time for progesterone, and I was told the same by the sonographer when I was having my last miscarriage. Different trusts different rules! If you want more tests and have the budget, I recommend onedaytest, I bought my HCG home kits from them. One kit costs £39. You can subscribe too, the minimum order is three tests, but for £29 each.

I was able to get another blood test today due to having so pains on one side. My HCG came back at 1450. So happy

@Becky good news!!🙏🤗🥰
