Idts unless he’s been sucking his own dick???!!!

No

@Savannah dead

Just trying to understand the explanation of why I got a sore inside my lip. Sore throat day after giving BJ as well.

If you kiss him even when there’s no active out break there is still a risk of transmission, it’s just a much lower risk than when there is an active cold sore.

Also canker sores are more likely to occur inside the mouth than cold sores are, I’d google images of a canker sore & see if yours matches up, but regardless going to your obgyn or pcp/gp and asking if you can get blood work done to see if you have hsv is the best option.

A helpful resource as well. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/herpes-hsv1-and-hsv2/oral-herpes

Hsv is hsv regardless of it being type one or two, and type one or two can occur anywhere on the human body; there’s just specific areas each are typically associated with. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/herpes-hsv1-and-hsv2/genital-herpes

@Savannah 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@Parker 又 thank you for the information, I guess what I’m trying to ask if it’s possible for me to get something if husband has infection from cheating or something. No kissing involve last time we were intimate and no intercourse. Just BJ

@Parker 又 I never get cold sores or anything

you can have herpes for a long time and never have any physical symptoms. A lot of people don’t even know that they have it because they’ve never had an outbreak. Your husband could’ve gotten cold sores from sharing drinks, vapes, getting kissed by his parents when he was younger. You can get it from a lot of things. That’s why a lot of people don’t want others kissing their babies. Unless you think he’s been cheating, I wouldn’t just assume he’s been cheating cus he could’ve gotten it before he was with you and just didn’t know he had it. Risk of transmission is much higher when a sore is present (so right now, when he has an active cold sore). You can still give the virus to someone else even if you don’t have an active sore but transmission is less likely to happen. It also just depends on how high that person’s viral load is. Someone could be more prone to transmitting it to someone than someone else is etc. he has an active sore, so I wouldn’t kiss him, or go down on him

@Savannah cackling 😭😭😭😭
