Is ice cream wet?

My husband and I are in a debate over if ice cream is wet. Im saying no because ice cream is frozen therefore frozen things are no longer a liquid so it can't be wet..however hes saying yes because it melts so it's now liquid. BUT ITS NOT THE SAME LIQUIDYNESS AS WATER?! you get wet you're damp and say moist. You touch ice cream you say it's not wet nor moist?? Do you think ice cream is wet?

Ice cream has a liquid phase. It contains water that is suspended and emulsified with fats from milk and cream that remains unfrozen, which is why it's not completely solid. It has both frozen ice crystals and liquid water.

I think this also depends on what kind of ice cream you are eating like a sorbet would be more solid and not liquid but like a soft serve is definitely liquid

I would judge it by, if I touch it does my hand become wet. The answer in this case would be yes so I say it is wet

@Victoria~ my problem with it is that it's not a liquidity wet. You touch water that's a liquidity wet. Same with juice or milk or drops off your finger leaving nothing behind. If I touch chocolate Ice cream you can see the chocolate color it doesn't fully drip off
