Hair washing

Now this might seem like a silly question but how do you wash your 12 month olds hair in thr bath if he's in a bath seat? I use a jug and pour it on but it sometimes goes in his fave and he absolutely hates it!

I don’t use a bath seat anymore, I use an extra long bath mat and don’t fill the bath with too much water. I use a jug too, but I just cup my hand over the top of their forehead and push the water back as I pour so the water doesn’t all go in their face. They tip they head back now when I do it too. After I dry their face/ eyes with a towel.

We still use a bath seat but I don't the same as Natalie, I rinse and push it back as I go, unfortunately she does still get some on her face but I feel it's inevitable when sat up! I do try and gently tip her head back but she's not a fan 😂

Our boy is just loose in the bath with a long bath mat and when I rinse his shampoo out I usually hold a toy so he looks up and then I pour the water down his hair with the other while he’s looking up. That gets most of it and then after that Id just pour water on his head after saying 1,2,33333 and make it a game and he’s got way better at just wiping his face and carrying on playing. Hated it at first!

I've got a little 'crown' off Amazon that keeps it out of eyes and ears.

Have you tried the jugs which have a silicone bit where the head goes?
