Moving

Have you ever packed up & moved down the street, while having two little kids? When we moved to our current house, we had a 9 month old baby & it was a little easier to pack & move. However, we now have two under 6 & we have accumulated a lot more stuff. Not sure how to navigate this. We might not even get the house, but I’m still stressing. Not sure what I’m looking for, just trying to see others’ experiences.

We just moved from one apartment to the other. I asked my friend to help me watch the kids while others helped us moved. It was so helpful knowing I can delegate and organize our stuff without worrying about the baby

@Joanna I just don’t know who to ask for help. My friend’s husband works a lot & she doesn’t think she could handle her one & my two by herself, but maybe they would be able to tag team. I wish I could ask my MIL because she helped us last time, but I couldn’t ask her to take off work so spontaneously.

We paid someone to come and look after our small human with us there. So i could instruct and pack (i was recovering from spinal surgery when we packed and sold our hour and moved 24hr drive away to the north) Then when i needed a rest the lady we paid helped pack stuff as per my instructions and i read/ played with my small human then when i coukd do some packing i did and she watched our small human. I felt fine because i was there the entire time. Then we also packed while she slept at night etc.
