I was told by a couple of midwives I could have a bath, but not to use any products. I’m 2 weeks PP and haven’t had any issues with scar.
i am 4 weeks PP tomorrow and my wound has opened in three places , and i haven’t bathed but my stitches dissolved… i was told 3 months as it’s far too risky for infection, and i see why now because i was “fully closed and healed” until it reopened so had i of bathed, i wouldn’t of actually been as healed as i thought and would be way worse off than i am but i guess it depends on what stitches you have xx
I feel this, 5 weeks PP now !! I would love a bath 😂 I would honestly wait till you’re cleared from your doctor, it’s not worth the risk. My midwife said I could bath from two weeks, which i was dubious about
I think you may need to get with until the doctor signs it off in your pp appt, same with stitches etc x
My midwife said it was ok to have a bath without the use of products, I’m 2 weeks PP. 😊
I still haven’t yet either at 4 weeks pp, I think most wait until around 6 weeks
