Caravan holidays

I want to take my daughter away for her 4th birthday this year, we only do caravan holidays as we have a dog. We go to the caravan every year (not for her birthday) and we always go to Skegness and we’re getting bored of the same thing, there’s not a right lot to do anymore, we go to ingolmels and butlin’s, although butlin’s isn’t an option for the dog because she’d have to be left alone for majority of the day which i don’t want. Her birthday is in the 3rd week of August so can anyone recommend where i could take her that’s not going to cost me and arm and a leg, i have a 1 year old as well so i need it to be suitable for both but i want to take them somewhere scenic and fun! Any recommendations i would really appreciate it!

Could you not look at caravan near butlins which accept dogs and they do day there x

Blackpool is lovely in summer and lots to do for everyone x

Fakenham in Norfolk is lovely! It depends how far you want to travel but i have to say most places in Norfolk are lovely and welcomes dogs! Xx

@Fay I just don’t want to do Skegness anymore, we’ve been 5 years in a row, we want somewhere different, Butlins do have caravans that you can take dogs as we took her last year for a couple days but she wasn’t aloud in the actual butlins part only the caravan park and so i don’t want her to be left alone all day on her own!

@Nicole a few people have mentioned this to me but i’ve always been a bit nervous for blackpool as i’ve also heard so many bad things about it! Where in blackpool would you recommend for the kids? x

@Jodi🤍 we go Blackpool every year and taken my son twice at 7 weeks (october) and 11 months old (August) and always stay at Marton Mere site. Plus there's the Blackpool air show August 9th & 10th which is a great event x

@Charlotte Honestly i don’t care how far we travel, Skegness typically takes us 2/2.5 hours so i do t mind going a little further! i’ll look into this area thank you xx

@Jodi🤍 if you are wanting some shade and seats and toilet near, there is a wetherspoons right opposite the sea and you still get a great view! We did this but you need to get there early as it starts at 1pm but starts crowding around 12pm and seats will go as theres only around 5 tables outside. But theres also a soft play I believe there for the little ones, sealife, zoo, circus which is also great xx

Parkdean resorts accept pets idk if it’s just the caravan part though or not as I haven’t been with pets in tow , I know there’s a few locations but only location I’m familiar with is Abergele

We stayed at Parkdean warmwell in Dorset with a 4 year old and 1 year old and enjoyed it. Things to do onsite and nearby.

The Weymouth haven locations are lovely not sure about pets you'd have to check
