Early potty training

Anyone have tips on potty training directly after birth? I’m 26w and wanting to learn as much as possible before I give birth. I’ve heard using cloth diapers and learning their cues/ times of day they go, anything else?

I believe it’s called “elimination communication” if you want to do some research!

That’s EC. Join some Elimination Communication pages on FB, whatever you are interested in join the groups on FB for advice and solidarity even though it’s something “niche” as in not mainstream, millions of people all over the world practice it. I did a combo of EC and cloth diapers we didn’t use disposables. I succeeded EC at 8-12m he was pooping on potty but that was in lockdown and I had time. As soon as it opened up and my social life opened back up I switched him back into cloth diapers it was too hard to maintain w me being out and about all the time. I’m on some EC groups and a bunch more of cloth groups

Check out www.godiaperfree.com they have some great resources for getting started with EC 🙂
