My nieces birthday is between Christmas and new years so they do a party at the start of December when people are available and then a small thing on the actual day. Ends up being nearly a month early but 🤷♀️
@Chloe great idea! - how early were you thinking to send out invites? We also thought about first weekend in July might have a better turnout
@Kierrah yeah we thought of doing it in June too for that reason…
Probably about 6 weeks before
Both my boys are July 17th and 24th so we usually do a joint party for them the weekend between, but that’s usually the weekend they break up from school so last year we did it the weekend before and had loads of kids here 😂🤦♀️ I think it just depends!
@Chloe thank you! We are in Scotland so we break up last Friday of June. However our own availability is much more limited that month… I am hoping to just go with it and see what happens the once they start school start to actually change it…
I’ve just booked a party and am just hoping a few of the friends he’d like to be there can make it 🤞🏻 Going to send out invites early so if some say no, I can give their invite to someone else to hopefully mean he has more than just a couple of friends there. We’ll see! 😬 Going forward it will be easier, because I’ll book the party for weekends in term time.
