My nearly 2 year old started playing with them recently and likes them. We build a tower together sometimes. Sometimes she pushes it on purpose.
My little boy got some for his birthday, he likes them. They encourage his building skills, but he does get frustrated as they aren't the easiest for little, impatient hands. He does enjoy putting them on the fridge .
My 2 year old was gifted some by a friend for her birthday party and she loves playing with them. She can’t build up with them yet but she does lay them out and drive her cars on them. There are magnets but they’re incased in the plastic
My boy LOVES them, he got them for his first birthday and have been played with every day since!
We asked family for a small starter set for my little boy's 2nd birthday (a month ago) as I'd heard so much about them but wasn't sure how he would take to them. It is the one toy he reaches for every single day without fail! At first he would get quite upset when they would fall or he couldn't handle the tiles very well, but we kept going and encouraging him and he is now building things himself! He absolutely loves them and we can see him being more creative and confident everyday with them. We are going to get some more for him soon as they've been such a hit 😊
They have magnets in them so I would ensure your little one is never alone with them and they're immediately thrown if broken to avoid risk of death!
We have them for the older kids, personally I wouldn’t give them to my two your old as he will possibly bite them and they do have relatively small magnets in. Plus I think he would get frustrated by them as you have to have fairly steady hands etc to build with them and they sometimes collapse fairly easily if you don’t get the structure right. My son had them around 4/5 and enjoyed them then.
